When you decide to fill your interior spaces with  houseplants, you are not just adding greenery, these living organisms interact with your body,  mind and home in ways that enhance the quality of your life.

They help you breathe easier, purify air, removes mold from air, improve your health mentally  and physically.

Below are some of the most popular plants for your indoors, especially very best ones for you to  consider to have it in your bedrooms. Don’t be shy – This week, we chose one of them for you  that’ll bring happiness, peace and help you to have a better sleep!

Lavender Plant

Lavender is a native to Europe and the Mediterranean (that’s why one of my favourites ☺), but  it can be grown in a variety of different zones and climates.

With enough love and attention, you’ll have a thriving, delicious-smelling plant that calms you  when you’re stressed and helps you sleep better! Here’s also a tip from me; lavender provides a  stellar flavor profile in desserts and cocktails ;) I recommend giving French lavender a try!

Find a hot, bright light for Lavender to produce the beautiful foliage and scented blooms, plant  in a well-draining, potting soil with limestone.

Plant your Lavender in a terra cotta pot. Quick-drying terracotta helps create that  Mediterranean environment.

Rotate the pot every time you water. This ensures even growth from all angles. Water your  Lavender till you see a drop coming underneath the pot. That one drop is a signal for you to stop  watering.

Another tip; Add alkaline to your soil. Crush up eggshells and mix them in with the top of the soil  once a month. You can also try adding a small amount of lime to the mix. And see how it goes! You’ll thank me after. ☺
